About the Fox Acres Community

As you turn off of Highway 287 onto County Road 74E and begin your ascent into the mountains, you feel the cares and stresses of the world lift.  The community at Fox Acres was carefully constructed around a special golf course to capture the feeling of secluded retreat.  Though not an isolated community, it brings the pleasure of a relaxed retreat.  An open, caring community which embraces new residents.

Many activities are available to the Fox Acres community.  You can join the Golf Club at Fox Acres (for more information, you can visit their website or call 970-881-2574), join a bridge group, go for a walk or a hike, relax into the serenity of the neighborhood, gather with your neighbors for social times, explore the history of the area, join a village organization, volunteer with a village entity, write a book, paint a picture ...

At Fox Acres, you can also enjoy watching various wildlife, such as deer, moose, elk, coyotes, bear, bobcats and mountain lions that may meander through from time to time. Osprey and bald eagles nest in the area and can be seen fishing the local lakes.
